Alderton Associates Ltd aims to develop profitable client relationships by meeting client, statutory, regulatory and certification requirements while continually improving the services we provide.
We operate a Quality Management System certified to BS EN ISO 9001:2015, covering the assessment of repairs, refurbishment, development and design of properties and all associated surveying duties.
The management is committed to:
Meeting quality requirements
- Developing, maintaining and improving the effectiveness of the Quality Management System.
- Communicating the requirements of the Quality Management System throughout the organisation.
- Holding management reviews at least once a year to set the year’s objectives.
- Meeting service quality standards, specifications and accreditations.
Providing excellent service
- Being proactive in all dealings with clients.
- Improving client satisfaction by seeking regular feedback, then analysing, reporting and acting on it.
- Continually reviewing our performance and taking action to improve.
Delivering on time
- Meeting agreed deadlines.
- Supporting our clients to meet their goals.
All personnel understand the requirements of this policy and follow our Quality Manual. We comply with all relevant statutory and regulatory requirements, monitor our quality performance and make improvements where appropriate. The policy is reviewed periodically to make sure it remains suitable, and copies are available to staff and relevant interested parties. Minutes of management reviews, or extracts from them, are shared with staff according to their role so that everyone knows how well the Quality Management System is working.

Health & safety policy
It is the policy of Alderton Associates Ltd to take all necessary measures to ensure the health, safety and welfare of all employees and others who may be affected by our activities. We provide adequate funds and resources to continually improve our health and safety performance, and employ competent people to meet this commitment.
All levels of management actively promote and support this policy to ensure it is effectively organised and implemented. Overall responsibility for health and safety rests with the directors; everyone in the organisation is responsible for co-operating in providing and maintaining a safe working environment.
We recognise our responsibilities as an employer to do all that is reasonably practicable to provide and maintain a safe working environment, and to:
- Keep accidents to a minimum and take all necessary steps to prevent accidents and ill health to anyone who may be affected by our work.
- Provide a framework for setting and reviewing occupational health and safety objectives in line with our activities.
- Ensure co-operation and co-ordination with other employees, occupiers, contractors and the self-employed.
- Provide adequate safety information, instruction, training and supervision.
- Monitor and regularly review our performance against this policy.
- Take account of employees’ capabilities when allocating work.
- Consult employees on health, safety and welfare matters.
- Retain competent health and safety advice so that we comply with statutory legislation and other requirements.
- Review the effectiveness of this policy at least every 12 months, or sooner when new legislation or other requirements must be taken into account.
This statement forms part of our full Health and Safety Policy, which sets out our organisation, responsibilities and arrangements in detail and is prepared with our health and safety consultants, Base Solutions Ltd. A copy is available to clients on request.

Environmental policy
Alderton Associates Ltd is committed to carrying out all our activities with due regard for their potential environmental impact. Environmental issues are an integral part of the supply chain, and all our employees are required to act with due care and consideration for the environment in everything they do.
We recognise that work cannot be carried out without affecting the environment, both positively and negatively. We make every effort to minimise adverse impacts and to reduce our carbon footprint so far as is reasonably practicable.
- Waste. We are committed to recycling and believe waste disposal should be avoided wherever possible.
- Pollution prevention is a continual priority. If any product is spilled, we will act to neutralise its impact on the environment.
- Continual improvement. We regularly review our activities and monitor their environmental impact.
- Compliance. We monitor and follow all relevant regulations, codes of practice and client requirements, and keep our environmental systems and procedures up to date so that we comply with legislation and other requirements.
Our environmental systems are overseen by senior management, advised and supported by our health, safety and environmental consultants, and communicated to everyone in the company through notices, toolbox talks and our induction process. Through management, supervision, instruction, practical example and in-house training, we make sure the policy is upheld throughout the organisation and that every employee recognises and agrees to follow it.
