Legal and insurance
Independent, CPR Part 35 compliant expert reports and technical inspections for solicitors, insurers, loss adjusters and managing agents — acting for either party or as single joint expert.

Our experience
Working with solicitors and insurers
We prepare expert reports for housing disrepair, building defects, party wall disputes, dilapidations and professional negligence claims, and we inspect and report on fire, flood and impact damage for insurers and loss adjusters. Our duty is to the court, not to the party paying the fee: reports set out what was inspected, what was found and the reasons for our opinion, in plain English.
Instructions are acknowledged the same working day and we agree the scope, timetable and fee in writing before inspecting. We attend joint inspections and meetings of experts, contribute to joint statements and give evidence where required. Individual instructions are confidential, so we do not publish them as case studies; references from instructing solicitors are available on request.
Clients include
- Solicitors and barristers’ chambers
- Insurers and loss adjusters
- Managing agents and freeholders
- Housing providers’ legal teams
Case studies
Confidential by nature
Expert witness instructions are confidential to the parties, so we do not publish them as case studies. References from instructing solicitors are available on request, and our wider project work is on the case studies page.
